During the week of
November 11th to November 16th, I was learning the ropes
of Photoshop. Many people, especially on the web, know of Photoshop; and of
those who know it there are people who use it. I was not too familiar with it and found it complicated. I still find it a bit of a head ache, but I am learning as I go on.
This blog is based on the work that I have done in my Web Design class.

Learning Reflection 9/27
During the past week i have learned how to create a podcast and how to post it on a blog. Creating a podcast can help people articulate better and get used to public speaking. I have also learned how to post an RSS news feed and gadgets. I do not know what the future has in stored for me but I believe it is never harmful to learn something new.

What I Know About Web Design
To be honest, I do not know a lot about web designing. The furthest I have ever gone was creating this blog. During my Sophomore I had to create a Wiki space. Other than those two things I have not had any experience creating or designing a website. What I hope to learn from this class is to create a website of my own. It can be beneficial to me in the future. I do not know for what exactly but it doesn't hurt to have one.
Netiquette
Netiquette-the correct or acceptable way of communicating on the Internet.
Netiquette is important because it is a representation of who you are on the Internet. The world will see how you act and respond to certain questions and situations. If you are not respectful towards others than you will not be shown respect. The same applies to the opposite.

Positive Digital Footprint
Digital Footprint- A trail left by an entities interactions in a digital environment; including their usage of TV, mobile phone, Internet and world wide web, mobile web and other devices and sensors.
Having a Positive digital footprint is imperative. Many who do not know you personally will judge you based on what the Internet shows them. You do not want to lose the opportunity on getting a job based on a foolish photo you post without thinking.
It is also important on who you are associated with online i.e Facebook or twitter. If you are shown to be associated with a known criminal then others might view you differently because of that.

Blogging
What Is a Blog?
What you are reading now is a blog. If you do not know what a
blog is exactly, it is a discussion or informational site published on the
World Wide Web which can consist of posts. A majority is collaborative;
allowing guests to leave comments and even message each other via GUI widgets on
the blogs, and it is this interactivity that differentiates them from other
static websites.
Many read blogs to seek an individual’s opinion or ideas.
Twitter is an example of this. Many people love to read what a celebrity is
doing or how their day went. I personally do not take part in such interactions
because I find it to be a waste of my time. If you do it, however, I will not criticize what you find
to be entertaining. Blogging can be helpful in our learning process. It helps us write more and communicate with others.
I have recently search for sports blogs.
