Goal of Animation - Our goal was to create a "trailer" for entertainment purposes.

Learning Reflection on Project - My partner, MD Islam, and I have been working on our final project for the past few weeks. I decided to create a "trailer" and my partner agreed that it would be interesting to do. It was fun and in the end we produced an outcome we were satisfied with.

Yet to be Completed on Project - I would have liked to add more sound effects and a battle scene.

Animated Public Awareness Advertisement 5-8-14

For the past  two weeks my partner, MD Islam, and I have been working on a public awareness advertisement in Adobe Flash. We decided to chose the topic of Animal Abuse. It was an interesting assignment because it was the second project I work on with someone else. It was also interesting because we had to gather information from the internet and add some facts to our work.

Flash Moving Background 4-10-14

For the past few days our class has been working with the Flash Animation tool. We starting off just making an image and worked up to making a stick figure run on a moving background. In the end I created this:

I am pleased with my work.

Windows Movie Maker Project 3-13-14

Last week we learned how to add on to our Pivot Animation using Windows Movie Maker and Windows Movie Maker Live. Although it was not as flamboyant, I chose to use Windows Movie Maker because it was simpler to use. I added a title slide, a credit slide, and even a slide to add a short story after the animation. The only frustrating part was adding audio. Picking the proper music was challenging since I am not a music person. Also, adding sound effects was annoying and I couldn't come up with ideas in the beginning. In the end I was proud of my work and enjoyed doing this project.

First Pivot Animation 2-27-14

In the passing weeks we have learned how to use Pivot Animator. It was a little challenging on getting the stick figure to move fluidly and realistically. It was also tedious at times. I learned that it can take an hour to make a video that is just a few seconds long. Now I better appreciate and praise those who make minute long videos on YouTube. Although it was time consuming, seeing my work come to fruition was pleasing and satisfying. I might continue using it on my spare time. Who knows, maybe I will make a ten minute video!

Learning Reflection 11/15

During the week of November 11^th to November 16^th, I was learning the ropes of Photoshop. Many people, especially on the web, know of Photoshop; and of those who know it there are people who use it. I was not too familiar with it and found it complicated. I still find it a bit of a head ache, but I am learning as I go on.

Learning Reflection 9/27

During the past week i have learned how to create a podcast and how to post it on a blog. Creating a podcast can help people articulate better and get used to public speaking. I have also learned how to post an RSS news feed and gadgets. I do not know what the future has in stored for me but I believe it is never harmful to learn something new.
